Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide mimics both a GLP-1RA (glucagon like peptide receptor agonist) as well as a GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide). Tirzepatide decreases appetite, and may improve how the body breaks down sugar and fats. It also slows the release of food from the stomach, leaving you feeling full longer. It is well tolerated by patients with the most common side effects of nausea, diarrhea, and constipation. Tirzepatide is a once weekly injection and the cost is $550/month.
